Hey! I’m Vayra Rose, and honestly… if you’d told me a year ago that I’d be spending my weekends coding a 100-year-old innocence quiz, I would’ve laughed. Hard. 👋
But here we are. It all actually started on this incredibly boring Tuesday. I was stuck in the back of a college lecture hall, half-listening to a professor and half-fighting with the school WiFi. I just wanted to take the Rice Purity Test to kill some time, but every single site I found was literally trash. They were glitchy, covered in sketchy pop-up ads, and looked like they hadn’t been touched since flip phones were a thing.
I kept thinking, “Why is this so broken? And why doesn’t it even load on my Chromebook?” That annoyance is basically what turned into this whole project. I didn’t want to just copy some dead link from 2005. I wanted to build something that actually feels like it belongs in 2026. Why This Project Matters (To Me)
TruePurityTest.com isn’t some faceless corporate site. It’s literally just me sitting at my desk at 3 a.m. trying to fix bugs. My goal was pretty simple from the start:
- Make the smoothest, most private version of this quiz online.
- Ensure it stays “unblocked” so you can actually have a laugh during those long, soul-crushing study breaks.
- Keep it real. No judgment, just vibes.
